Celebrate Recovery Celebrate Gods healing power in our lives through fellowship, eight recovery principles based on the beatitudes, and the Christ-centered 12 Steps. This program allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. Most importantly, we become willing to accept Gods grace in solving our life problems.
By working the steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and above all things, a stronger personal relationship with God.
We discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power Jesus Christ.
There are several local churches offering Celebrate Recovery programs. Christ Chapel Bible Church, which is close by (at I-30 and Montgomery,) has groups which meet on Monday nights, and a new daytime group for women that meets on Tuesdays. Find out more about Christ Chapel's CR here.
Prayer Ministry
At St. Paul, there are several ways to be involved with the prayer ministies. If you have a prayer request that you would like to share, you can contact Karen and request to have it either kept in the church staff's confidential prayers, or have it published in the bulletin's weekly prayer guide.
Or, if you want to be involved in prayer for others, you can join the Barnabas prayer team! These team members commit to praying for several members of the congregation on a daily or weekly basis for six months, then receive new lists of those to be lifting up in prayer.
